My Approach to Tutoring
I have always held teachers in very high regard and I believe the education, support, and love they provide are precious gifts to give to our youth. My education was exemplary and I want for other students to receive an exemplary education as well. I know for many students this means some extra one-on-one time with a patient and encouraging individual. I would love to be that person for your loved ones.
My experiences thus far have included education of varying degrees. I've taught toddlers in dance classes, High School Students in Math classes, and friends and family anything from basic multiplication to differential equations, chi square tests and Marginal Revenues.
My previous career in financial mentoring taught me a lot about working with individuals to bring them to a deeper understanding of complicated and foreign concepts, making the material real and relatable to anyone at any age.
I am currently working towards receiving my Pennsylvania Secondary Mathematics Education Certificate and my degree with Western Governor's University. I have completed my praxis exams and all of my classes and am preparing to complete my student teaching this September.
I truly believe that everyone is qualified to learn and deserves the education that will best help them to both enjoy it and to meet their potential.
